Departing from Port Angeles, a short 20-minute drive takes into the Elwha Valley. From there, experience a short waterfall walk (0.2 miles) to Madison Creek Falls and viewpoints of the glacier-fed Elwha River.
30 minutes further on the drive, go to Lake Crescent, the centerpiece of the itinerary, and enjoy a 2- to 3-mile guided hike to Marymere Falls and surrounding trails immersed in old-growth forests.
After the hike, wrap the afternoon with a visit inside the historic Lake Crescent Lodge or simply enjoy the beautiful shoreline trails and dock nearby.
